Myth: Women’s sports are less exciting than men’s

· 31:07

Women’s sports get a lot less attention than men’s. In Canada, data show that over 90% of print and online sport media coverage focuses on men’s sports. You may have heard people say that this is because women’s sports aren’t as exciting as men’s, or that they just don’t make as much money. In this episode, we’re going to bust this myth, and talk about how those perceptions are shaped by unfair assumptions about who gets to play sports, who gets attention, and who’s worth investing in.
